1. First, keep your weight on your left foot, step your right foot forward half a step, facing the wall, and push against the wall with your hands.
2. Immediately shift your weight to your right foot and glide in an S-shape.
3. When learning to glide backward, remember not to stick your buttocks out. You can squat down, and look back slightly. Shift your weight slightly backward to propel your body forward.
4. Another method is to stand with your feet together, half-squat, push against the wall, and while moving backward, lift your feet in a V-shape, pushing to the left with your left foot and to the right with your right foot, similar to gliding forward.
